Things had been going wrong for some time, and finally the government collasped. Most people were shocked, scared, and desparately trying to survive. Others, though took advantage of this, and thrived under anarchy. These people became dangerous, killing freely, and trying to establish their own countries.
Only one worked.
The Lords, four young hopeful rulers proposed a plan to get the world out of this state. And, to a world where anarchy was it's only ruler, this plan was a welcome one. Four Factions would share power, and the young people would be trained to carry on the legacy.
After a while, when things had settled down, there was obviously some discontentment. A Lord-wannabe was turned away, and, in anger, started a rebel movement. People joined, whether from agreement with the ideals, or because they liked being rebels.
Soon enough, the Lords got wind of this. At first, it didn't seem like a problem, but the forces are growing. And what about the pesants, who live in an old-timey village while the Lords and their exclusive Factions enjoy what used to be modern conveniences?
Unrest is growing, and only one Lord is really the type for compromise.
