In the world of the Factions, all werewolves and vampires have to follow this guide. Otherwise, it'd be way too confusing. Also, either of these type of characters have to be purchased with shiny objects. If we see a bio for a werewolf or vampire and nothing stating that they were purchased, the bio will not be approved.
Also, this guide copyright to Melon {I'm just posting it for her}
Appearance
Hair: Can be any color.
Eyes: Can be any color, but the same color as their Aura.
Weight: Any, can be fat, but not as likely because they have high metabolisms
Height: Females: 5’8”-6’4” Males: 6’-6’8” for werewolves. Vampires tend to run a bit shorter.
Can be taller or shorter
Other: They can be super muscled; their sharp pointy teeth always show; vampires are pale, but they DO NOT SPARKLE.
Magic All Werewolves and Vampires have two types of magic. Aura, also known as (semi)involuntary magic and Personality Based magic or voluntary magic.
Aura: solidify for force-fields, or other things or activate things in some special weapons. The amount of things you can do depends on the amount and control of the person’s Aura. A controlled aura is sphere shaped and around the person’s body. If an Aura is not controlled, if they are making it visible it would look blobby and erratic. A large Aura with little control would be able to do a lot of things, but not with a lot of skill. A small Aura with a lot of control would be able to do less, but with much much more skill. Aura’s are always the same color as the person’s eyes.
Personality based: All Weres and Vamps have ONE of these personality based powers. Just choose the one that would fit your character's personality best.
Illusionist (happy, friendly, energetic, mischievous [create visual illusions, more powerful one can make people feel like they are drowning or dying])
Space/Time Manipulation (antisocial, sarcastic, “better than thou” [can slow/speedup/stop time for short periods of time for small areas when powerful, otherwise can teleport, teleport others, store things (not living things) in another dimension]),
Alchemist (kind of a mix between the Space/Time and Illusionist personalities, life of the party [can create metal objects for short periods (they disappear after a little while) and change things with similar properties into each other])
Summoner (smart, dependant, calculating, kinda nerdy [ can summon demons to fight for them]
Reinforcer (tough, big, strong, reliant on strength [strengthens weapons, armor or really anything else]
Nature control (calm, one with nature or wild and bestial [can manipulate anything natural. Any nature user can manipulate any natural thing, though they tend to specialize. Cost more since this is rather powerful])
Healing (caring, gentle.... sometimes go a little overboard with the whole medicine thing. [can heal. duh.])
Dark Magic (sadistic, mean, etc... not necessarily evil [can do.. well stuff you'd think of as dark like curses and such])
Manipulator (flirty, perverted etc.. [can make people do stuff. can't make them feel a certain way, but they can make people get up, walk across the room and hit themselves with a dictionary])
The power in this is based on how controlled/ large the person’s Aura is.
Shape-shifting: Werewolves-Can shift completely at any time. Can half form at any time. Can change any part of their body at any time. They turn into wolves. Duh.
Vampires- can shift completely at any time. Only very powerful ones can half-form (cost more for this) since it gives them more power. Cannot change individual parts. Also, vampires have one random animal they can change into. Ex: One could turn into a cat while another could turn into a fish and another could turn into a dragon.
Special: Sometimes, when Weres and Vamps get really powerful, they become special for lack of a better term for it. Basically, they either get a random power that has nothing to do with any of the personality based powers in addition to their current power, or they will be able to use all of the personality based powers. NOTE: THIS IS VERY RARE! VERY FEW ARE POWERFUL ENOUGH FOR THIS.
Physical Abilities
Strength: This varies according to how muscular and large the person is, as well as how much training they’ve had. For instance, a 5’ tall 110lb. female werewolf who has had 6 months of hard training would be able to lift between 900-1000 lb. Now if it was a 7’ tall 250 lb. male werewolf, it’d be more like 2000-2500 lb. Yeah. They’re powerful critters. I’m not going to give an average, just know that a werewolf with no training would be a bit stronger than a vampire of the same size and skill.
Speed: This also has a very large range. Let’s take our werewolves from the previous example. The small female, assuming she is a good runner and has had those 6 months of hard training (being small DOES NOT necessarily mean they are faster or a good runner.) would be able to go roughly 425 mph. The big male on the other hand would be going a lot slower, closer to 150 mph.
Toughness: Well, let’s say if you poked a were or vamp really hard, you’re finger might hurt depending on which one you poked, and they would look at you sorta confused. They’d feel something more like either a gentle poke or being brush up against, depending on how tough the particular one you poked is.
Weaknesses
Silver: Yes, I’m not very original am I? Silver hurts both Vampires and Werewolves. It sorta makes their skin get all… nasty and it boils their blood literally and it’s very very uncomfortable. It also weakens them.
Sun: No, it does not make the vamps die. It just gives them sunburn. Cause they have pale skin. Put on some sunscreen and they’ll be fine.
Other
Blood drinking: Yes, these vampires drink blood, but not because they absolutely love it, even though some do. It’s because they have a blood condition called blood type R. Blood type R does not reproduce blood cells, so to get blood into their systems, Vamps have to drink blood because they have a special gland near their stomach that converts the blood they drink into type R. They can drink any sort of blood, though some are more widely liked than others like human and dragon. It’s hereditary. All Vamps have it. No, you’re vamp cannot be the exception to the rule. End of story.
Life Expectancy/Aging Now for one of the more confusing things. Life expectancy is based on how much magic the Were or Vamp has. Generally, they live to be somewhere between 175-220. That's not the REALLY confusing part though.
Aging for a Vamp or a Were that was born in human form goes pretty much the same as a human's until they start learning magic If they start practicing with magic at the age of seven, their aging will start slowing down then. If they start at 18, it will start slowing then. How much it slows depends on how much magic the person has. An example would be you could have a 15 year old who started training at about 8 years old who looks like she's ten. you could have a 26 year old who started training at the age of five who looks like he's 18. You could have a 60 year old who started training at 20 and looks like he's in his early to mid thirties. You could have a 120 year old who started training at 10 who looks like he's about 50. Of course the 120 year old would have to be incredibly powerful. Sooo yeah. I think that's it.
